RECALL LINGNER EFFORT TO LAUNCH---A group called O.W.L. (Out With Lingner) is preparing a petition drive to recall Councilman Lingner on the Fall Ballot. SLAHD is not officially affiliated with the group which can be reached @ NOSPAMoutwithlingner@msn.com.

MISSION:
SLAHD promotes responsible growth to match the Western rural quality of life that has been the hallmark of Laveen. Our informal neighbor group will work with Laveen community organizations, government, and landowners to plan how our precious area will develop. We will be reasonable but firm with misguided attempts to zone for high density cookie cutter housing. SLAHD supports retention of our rural atmosphere, is pro-aninmal/equestrian zoning, and supports horse and hiker trail access. We oppose bringing in bright lights, extension of the urban heat island, and any efforts to over-urbanize our area.
